Midnightsun by uberfischer Midnightsun by uberfischer
The midninghtsun shot about half an hour after midnight a few weeks back. I had to reduce the saturation in the red channel quite much cause the scene was just way too vibrant. Scenes like this are challenging with serious flareissues.

So cool too see the red hot sun under a threatening, dark and moody sky...

If anyone ever wants to visit Norway...make sure you do that when the midnightsun is in its prime...

cheers!

Wow it is captivating, that must be grass in the foreground?
I love the interaction of colours between the glowing red flares and the grey clouds!

Great light here well done on this. I would say that you can maybe cut the sky just above the small clouds....will give more impact

Sadly I won't make it to Norway before the middle of August. Any chance to get some Aurora Borealis or some other interesting motif in August?

in august you wont see any aurora borealis..it`s still way too bright outside... The midnightsun is also gone by then :-)

But the good news is that Norway is incredibly beautiful in august :-)

Indeed, that's very cool to see the setting sun under such a dark sky.

Impressive!
