Remember when i cursed the clear skies on my trip in the mountains a few week back? I said i might post some of that just for fun...well here is one of them.

I followed this creek from high up in the mountains. I searched for suitable compositions and i found a couple of good ones. This creek comes from a glacier a little further up...The rocks were covered with ice and the creek was also frozen here and there.

The sun had just dipped behing the mountain straight ahead, causing the sky to have somewhat uneven and tricky lighting. Damn that sky!

wow, this is really amazing
i love how the mini waterfall first captures your attention then you move past that and are just blasted back by the beauty of that lake and mountains

Yes you kind of right, clear skies can be a real pain in the … Especially in the summer when humidity is low. Light is very harsh to the very end and then flat nothing and skies with no character.
It seems to me obvious that you didn’t have much problem with the overcoming clear skies syndrome. Very nice variation of thin horizon composition. Eyes pleasing flow of elements from top left to bottom right and like always great colors. Simply great shot!
