During my week on Mallorca it was cloudless and boring 90% of the time. The only decent evening was the first one, before i even had any clue
about places to shoot. I had done some research, but all of those options included renting a car. And theres not a thing on earth
that will make me drive in places like this. I`m used to calm and organized traffic conditions...in the south everything is complete chaos. I`m sure
i would wreck any car during the first five minutes...
So i headed down to the beach this wonderful evening. And basicaly the only thing to shoot down there was this pier. The surroundings narrowed down the compositional options.
To the left there was a large industrial area and to the right was another town. Had to clone away some distracting elements from the sea...
The light was amazing, the colours were breathtaking...but only for a couple of minutes. Then everything just faded and the incredible pink sky was nothing but a fond memory..
